Length: Measure from where the shoulder seam meets the collar to the hem.
Shoulder: Measure from where the shoulder seam meets the sleeve on one side to another side.
Chest: Measure from the stitches below the armpits on one side to another.
Sleeve length: Measure from where the shoulder seam meets armhole to the cuff.

Some sweatshirts are for wearing. This one is for living in. The Buoy is the crewneck you reach for on the ferry deck when the wind picks up, the one you pull on over a damp bathing suit because the bonfire's not going to light itself, the one that ends up in the back seat, on the dock, and somehow at breakfast the next morning. Nobody planned it. It just keeps showing up. At 320 grams per square metre, the fabric has real heft, the kind that holds its shape wash after wash and gets softer while it's at it. The 85/15 cotton blend means it stays warm without turning into a sauna. The fit is relaxed and a little roomy, so it layers over a tee in September and fits over a flannel by November.
