Maritime Summers Birthday Giveaway — Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Maritime Summers Birthday Giveaway is sponsored by Maritime Summers (“the Sponsor”).

2. Giveaway period

The giveaway begins on August 31, 2026, when the giveaway post is published, and closes on September 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

3. Eligibility

The giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, agents, and members of their immediate households are not eligible to enter.

4. How to enter

No purchase is necessary. To receive one entry, an eligible entrant must:

• Follow @maritimesummers on Instagram
• Like the giveaway post
• Comment on the post and tag one other genuine Instagram account

Each separate comment tagging a different person counts as one entry. Duplicate tags, celebrity accounts, business accounts, spam accounts, and fraudulent or automated entries may be disqualified. Sharing the post to an Instagram Story is optional and is not required to enter.

Bonus entry: An entrant may receive one additional entry by sharing the giveaway post to their Instagram Story during the giveaway period, tagging @maritimesummers, and including a short description of their favourite Maritime summer memory. Entrants with private accounts must send @maritimesummers a screenshot of the Story by direct message before the giveaway closes. A maximum of one bonus entry is available per eligible entrant.

5. Prize

One winner will receive one sailboat essential mock neck in their preferred available size and colour. The approximate retail value of the prize is $85 CAD. The prize is subject to product and size availability, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or substituted by the winner.

6. Winner selection and notification

One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The potential winner will be contacted only by the official @maritimesummers Instagram account on or around September 5, 2026.

The potential winner must respond within 48 hours and correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance. If they do not respond, cannot be verified, or answer incorrectly, another potential winner may be selected.

7. Odds

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the giveaway period.

8. General conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated, inappropriate, or otherwise inconsistent with these rules. The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect its fair administration.

9. Instagram release

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, participants release Instagram from responsibility related to the giveaway.
